Managing Sustainability for Competitive Advantage (ASU MBA)

A required class in the Evening MBA program, providing students with the "sustainability literacy" that every manager needs. We work very much from the viewpoint of strategy, exploring the competitive implications of society's increasing focus on sustainability.

Syllabus

Strategy (ASU Online MBA)

The capstone class in the Online MBA program. Multiple professors share the teaching of this class, so the syllabus posted is equally the work of Dr. Louise Nemanich, with whom I often taught.

Syllabus

Technology strategy II (Illinois MBA)

This was an elective class, which followed the required Management of Technology and Strategy classes in the Illinois MBA. Management of Technology I was intended to provide the basic information any manager needs to manage in a technologically vibrant marketplace. This class was for students who intended to work more directly with technology and innovation.

Syllabus

Technology strategy (Illinois MBA/Law)

This course, offered in both the MBA and Law programs aimed at preparing non-technologists to participate effectively in the management of the innovation process. Its focus was not on technology per se, but on making students familiar with key concepts of technology management and more able to understand how their specialty interacts with innovation and technology processes within a firm.
