Syllabus

Innovation strategy (ASU PhD)

This was a 5 week special topics module for both our macro and micro students.

Syllabus

Research Presentation Workshop (ASU PhD)

A new seminar as of Fall 2013. Our goal is to give doctoral students a safe, structured environment in which to develop and present their research, as well as practice the craft of scholarly critique.

Syllabus

Foundations of strategy (ASU PhD)

The Foundations of Strategy class is one of two macro level courses all Management doctoral students take. It is offered every other year, alternating with the Organization Theory class offered by Don Lange. The attached syllabus is from the last edition of the class I taught before the addition of Don’s class. When I next teach it, I will be able to cover fewer topics in greater depth.

Syllabus

Strategy process (Illinois PhD)

I offered this class several times at Illinois. In addition to covering classic strategy process issues, we covered a little bit of Organization Theory, since it was otherwise not easily available to our students.

Syllabus

Managing Innovation in the Global Context (Illinois PhD)
